please help i have the 2.4 motor and p1601 pcm overtemp
so it cranks, got spark got fuel.
got miles? how many?
and p1601 pcm overtemp, what does this mean is it the original one?
did it hapen all at a sudden?
got fuel? how much? PSI
got spark? are all the wires in the right position/
most importantly, got compresion?
115,000 5 degreesor more differ between intake temp original pcm
P1601 PCM Serial Common ECM over temp ( computer is frying)
it happen after was misfiring ,mis fired for a day then stop now cranks got spark firing right ,got fuel 40 psi
I was working on a blaser last year, v6 diferent storry, I know, but there was this ignition module bolted to the intake, still not sure what it was or what it did but it had a dot on it, which the parts guy said it apears when it overheats, so we replaced it and it ran, i wounder if these four cyl are similar
