just like the title says I was driving my car today when my throttle cable froze and I almost got in a accident.just wondering if anybody has had this problem at all thanks

have you been playing under the hood lately? i had my TB off for cleaning once and put the cruise control TB cable back on in an awkward way that it stuck open on me. i believe the cable was catching on the intake manifold (i think?).

he what's up guys thanks for the response, as crazy as it may sound I started looking at it more and found a walnut stuck under my throttle which was holding it wide part throttle to wide open throttle. I was dumbfounded and couldnt believe a walnut found its way under my throttle body. take it easy guys

LOL, almost as bad as when my buddies S10 had his air intake tube full of walnuts, had to put some screen over it to keep the squirrels out,
may be a dead post but im having almost the same problem.. my cruse control cable keeps coming off but befor it comes off it like holds my throttle open a little till i have to gun it for it to stop.
any solutions????

LOL this happened once on my old car, WOT boosted J isn't fun, i luckily slammed the brakes and turned the car off and made it to the side of the road
LOL should i just leave the cable off? will it effect anything?
