Help With Flashing Light in Gauge Cluster.

On my gauge cluster, the light that looks like a little headlight / high beam light, flashes continuously. The only time it turns off is when the headlights are turned on. It's pretty annoying. Anyone have any Idea what the problem could be? Thanks for any input.

Sounds like you're describing the DRL warning light. It flashes if you have a burned out light or bad DRL relay.

I just bought the car and really haven't had a chance to find all the little things that need attention. I stripped the wax off, rubbed out the scratches and swirl marks & oxidation out, polished it, waxed it, had the interior cleaned and got the windows tinted. Now that it looks decent I can turn my attention to the little things.

After reading your post I went out and started the car so I could verify that the DRL's were on. Just as you suspected, they both appear to be burned out. I will replace the bulbs and see if that fixes the problem.

By chance do you know what bulb that takes?

Thanks for your quick response.

The DRL's use the high beam bulbs (9005). - Mark
