So I've noticed this problem 3 times now.

My check gauges light will come on and my gas gauge will slowly start to drop. After a few seconds, the check gauges light will go out and the gas gauge will start to rise back up again. It has done this twice now after I have just gotten gas. I've noticed that the gauge doesn't seem to be %100 percent accurate anymore either. Example I will start the car and it will say 1/4 tank. After driving for a mile or so, the gauge will go up a little bit. Not a huge jump but up maybe an 1/8th of a tank or so.

Because the check gauges light comes on, that leads me to believe that the computer is not getting a signal from the sending unit. Has anyone experienced this problem before?

Ive never had the light come on ive had after a while of driving cruising not flooriing it. gas guage goes up a little bit. although when i first bought the car i had to take it back to the dealership like 2 weeks later because all of my guages were going hay wire sometimes the speedo would read 0 on the highway i would have 2x a full tank of gas or be going like 130 parked. it was wack man. as far as helping you fix it no clue just posted a thread to bs around and waste some time at work.
