ok just had my car tuned up and they didn't find anything really needed to be done.....minor stuff adjust brakes, trans flush, wipers, oil change, filters thats really it....

so I get in my car this morning and it's been extremely cold here in the northeast lately....and I have an auto starter which works great knock wood no problems....but car sat for two days and i did start her up now and again thru the weekend...but i get in this morning and the clock is all off and i needed to reset her like the electricity went out...but everything seems to be fine...any idea what could've happened....thanks in advance....

If the battery is getting weak, it can cause the clock to reset. This happens because the voltage is pulled very low during cranking. It may still be able to start the car, but I would bet that its days are numbered. Of course poor connections can cause this too - but if it's the original battery, I would bet in it being the culprit.
I put a volt meter in my car, and before I got rid of the original battery I noticed it dropping to near 9 volts during cranking on colder days. With the new battery, I haven't seen it dip past 11V yet - typically around 11.5V. All it takes is for 1 or 2 cells to start getting weak. I just figured I would replace mine while it was convenient - and I like being able to feel confident that it's going to start just fine on some of the cold days we've had lately.
A weak battery also puts extra strain on the starter and alternator. You should be able to get it load tested if you want to verify its condition. If there's any question, I would just replace it.
