Radiator Leak

Hey guys, I've got a leak in my radiator somewhere right after it returns to the radiator (upper hose entrance) but its not the hose and its not anything around the hose. I've tried using the stop leak stuff to see if it helped and no luck. I believe it may be a tube inside the radiator, what can I do to repair it or fix it other then replacing it as the car is beginning to fall apart everywhere and rust has taken over so I'm going to have to part with it soon. I just need a suggestion that might help get a few thousand miles out of it before it dies completely. Its going through about a gallon a week give or take a few ounces.

Any suggestions would be great!

If the rad is orginal, I would think youre in a need of a new rad. Plastic rads get old the split, Also well youre @ it if the hoses are old they could need replacing too, Also You could do the cheapest fix first replace the upper rad hose and see if that makes a difference. When the hoses get old they dont seal anymore, Could be an easy solution fix.

Good Luck.

The radiator is not plastic it is some type of metal, the hoses have all be replaced, just weeks ago when i had to replace the thermostat and other cooling system items due to water freezing in them. The radiator steams from behind the fan and drips or small streams from the upper fins of the radiator right as the fins begin about 2 inches from the top. I checked the levels today and it doesnt leak other then steam if it is about half full in the radiator and nothing in the reserve tank.

Any other suggestions.......thanks Rich for trying to help.
