i have a 97 2.2 cavi with an automatic trans.
and about a month or so ago i noticed that when u hit the gas the rpms would go down then up. next the engine began to miss fire so i replaced the plugs. no fix then i put it on the scanner which said cyl. 1 and 4 miss fire. so next was the coil packs then the ignition control modual. when that didnt work i took it to a shop they replaced all the injectors. when that didnt work i tried a computer....then a tps,map,mass air flow,crank &cam sensor,spark plug wires,fuel pressure reg. and i think thats it..

rough idle
feel pulsation while driving
loss of power
then weirdest thing is it seems to run decent cold and really bad when it gets hot...
someone help please!!!!!!

My thoughts would be is to check your wiring harness to your injectors.

replace your catalytic converter...or put straight pipe there...lol...if it runs fine when when its cold and gets worst when it hots up then there are pretty good chances that its converter is plugged...or close to it..heres what to do..run it for about ten minutes(go for a quick drive) then stop jack it up and lightly/quickly touchyour hand on the converter and then do the same behind the converter if the conveter is really hot or hotter then the pipe just behind then converter..then its plugged and needs to be replaced..hope this helps..
