While Amsoil is a great product, it's just too pricey for me.
You could go with Penzoil Platinum (23 bucks) or Valvoline synpower (22.50) in a 5qt jug at wally world and it would work just as good...

Mobil 1 has good products, but I became less enamored with them when they started offering so many supposedly specialized variants. There are lots of fine products, but your decision will no doubt be based in part on availability and cost, as well as recommendations. I use Shell Rotella-T synthetic (5-40) in everything. It's well rated and available locally (US Pacific Northwest). - Mark
