04 Cavalier, Ecotec, 5 spd manual... just had tranny rebuilt, replaced 3 and 4th syncros, and a roll pin on the shifter arm.... have the transmission and all related parts back in car now, ready to roll... here is my problem. Transmission was removed by one mechanic, whom I can not locate now. Me and a friend, a good mechanic, have the car back together. We have found an electrical connector that we have no idea where it goes. It is near the starter, it is a pig tail about 4 inches long off, 2 prong connector, blue boot on it. The engine will turn over, but will not start, will not even "hit". This connector is the only thing we can find that we did not hook back... hopefully someone will be able to help me......
^ I don't think the motor would turn over if that was unplugged.
It was crankcase position sensor.. 5 minute fix
