im trying to change the turn signal flasher on a 99 2.2 cavalier... i think i located the flasher under the dash but i cant seem to get it out.. and also while trying to pull it out i believe i knoced the wire that lights up the heat and ac controls because it is no longer working... any help or tips will be greatly appreciated.. thanks
The flasher should pull right out of it's socket... are you sure what you located is the flasher?

i think so... when i turn the turn signals on i can feel the box ticking... i just cant get it to move.. its connected to a light green box.... but it seems like there is too much stuff in the way...
Yep. It is the green box, that looks exactly like a relay. are you having a hard time gettting the flasher from under the dash, or disconnecting the harness from it?? If it don't want to come out from under the dash, all I can say is pull. It's just held in place by a little fastener plug in a hole in the metal support under the dash..
