Ok so this weekend during the middle of working (delivering pizza) I went to go start my car and i turn it over and get nothing, thinking my battery was dead I tried jumping it-still nothing at all. So I take the battery out thinking its jsut completely dead beyond recharge, turns out to be good still, so then I 'm thinking its the starter. I replaced that last night, go to fire it up and it will crank and crank but will not fire?
So I thought well maybe I'm not getting any fuel up there so i check the fuel line coming out of the filter 9on the engine side of the filter) and I get gas coming out so I'm assumign my fuel pump is good still. However I pulled all the plugs and looked into the cylinders and they were all dry as were the plugs. Any thoughts on what I should check next?
You need to check actual fuel pressure. The pump is probably weak and not giving enough psi.
how do you go about checking the fuel presure?
You changed the starter so check to be sure you didn't leave any ground wires loose or unpluged around the starter. Also, check to make sure your IDI plug is connected.

I took the starter out again last night to double check all the connections and everything looked ok. I have the two wires that go on the big stud at the top of the solenoid, then one smaller one on the "s" stud of the solenoid and then another small black one over on a solenoid mounting bolt to the housing. Which I'm pretty sure is exactly as I took the wires off the old one. Anyone have any pics of the wires on a starter or does that sound right?
What is the IDI plug, and where is that located?
