does anyone know what would cause the serpentine belt to be loose how do you tighten this up?
auto-tensioner not doing its job, it could be seized. mine was at around 90k. easily replaceable.
i would say its the tensioner i have around 112k miles on the car just replaced the water pump and while i was at it i replaced the timing chain. while i was at it i replaced the belt too. how tight should the belt be its not too loose but it is loose if that makes sense?
