when i put the new water outlet on i have about a 1/16" gap between the outlet and the motor. is there a certain way to put these on?
alittle lube..push it in..bolt it down..thats it
And make sure the tiny O-ring is still attached when you install it.

no the thermostat is located in the radiator outlet pipe or whatever its called that bolts in to the water pump cover
