first of all i tried the search button, didnt really work out, but i have 2 Zs a 95 and a 97, 97 had blown tranny, but the motor is good and the 95 has a blown head gasket. (both are 5 speeds) when i looked on the 95 it has a 2.4 valve cover? and i did some research and it says it has the 2.3? but could i just swap out the ld9 in the 97 with the motor in the 95? which im guessing there the same motor? but the intake is different? well i just need some advice with this cause like i said im new to Js any help at all would be great

The 95 should have the 2.3L in it and is OBD1. The 97 should have the 2.4L and is ODB2. You cant easly swap engines due to the different diagonsitc(its late and spell check isnt helping) systems(OBD1 & 2). The trannys on the other hand should be swappable.

ok well can i just swap the whole computer system and everything into the 95? and is there anyone near the kent county area in delaware that thinks they can help me? lol im 16 and just tryin to get a car to drive lol
