i have a 2002 z24 4 dr. are the trunk trim fasteners the hooks that hold the net? i am worried about trying to force them to twist, so thought i'd ask first. i have never had to replace my tail lights before.

just go for it. all it is is a metal retainer that the hook screws into .. easly replacable.

yup... serve two purposes a hood for the net .. and a retainer for the carpet., sometimes they can be a bit difficult to unscrew.
