how do you remove the engine(LD9) from a cavalier without the tranny? and do i need to support it?
i know i SOUND like a total n00b
I just put a jackstand on the tranny near the CV joint at the passenger side,it worked fine for my Sunfire GT.
it a manual ???? and is it easy to put back in without the tranny? lol
(sorry its my first LD9 removal and im trying my hardest to not to have to remove it)
If it is a manual car you should pull the trans with it. There is not enough room in the engine bay to get the input shaft out of the clutch.
