auto/eco need someones help who has a dmm

ivg got tranny problems on my 05 eco tranny, its an automatic, i need some help from someone with a digital multimeter. there is a sensor on the back of the tranny on the passenger side near the bottom. i desprately need someone with a meter to pull the plug out and use the meter to see what voltage your getting out of it. really need some help here guys/girls. im not getting a reading at idle. or when i had the wife run thru the gears.

The VSS? You won't get a reading out of that unless your moving. And If that was acting up it would cause some very noticable problems.

so looks like i need to put it in drive then, get the wheels goign and measure it. its basically my last resort before the tranny gets pulled.

What are your symtoms? Codes? A bad VSS will typically throw a code and cause eratic shifting, or no shifting, clunks, etc. Be sure to check the wires for continuity. And if your unsure, take it to a shop. There's no shame in letting someone else use a $3000+ tool for diag. and a scope would be much prefered over a dvm in this case.
