Hello, alright so today my car started acting a little bit weird. Well it has been for a while now but today I noticed it again. Sometimes when I stop at stoplights and stop signs and accelerate after I will be pressing down the gas and the car will slowly move and after a second or two it will like all of a sudden move normally. Kinda like its in neutral for that split second and then gets back on track. Also whenever I'm stopped going up a hill my car will almost immediately die. Any ideas? Garbage in the fuel tank? Bad fuel line? Trans problem? Thanks!!!

Ha. Mine started doin the same thing a week ago. Threw a TPS code and a EGR code. Replaced the TPS 2 days ago and it did nothing. Didn't replace the EGR. Gosh darn a new EGR is almost 300 bucks!! Be curious to see if anyone has any pointers.

I don't know if removing and cleaning the EGR valve would help or not.Carbon build up? Check the wiring at the plug on the EGR valve and trace it back as far as you can making sure there are no breaks or bare wires.I think that would be my first move.Thought I had a bad Coolant Temp Sensor today but it turned out to be the wires going into the plug had come loose.If all else fails you could always try to find a low mileage car at the local u-pull-it yard and grab an EGR valve there. Wiring to the EGR is just peachy. You might be right about the carbon build up on the EGR though. Im gunna pull one from a junker and soak it in some sea foam. I'll post results.
