i've got a 96z and when idling the motor shakes rather excessively but as soon asits off idle it runs great and doesnt shake a bit. any ideas would be great cuz its really starting to get on my nerves.. on a different note while driving if i'm on the gas this damn thing drives great as soon as let off of the gas it has a knocking noise like the front end is gonna fall off,,,,,,

I'd like some input too. I got the same missfire/shake at only idle also.

i thought motor mounts might have something to do with it but i went through all of them and there isnt any excessive wear on them...

They say mine is a missfire. But no codes coming up. Didn't wanna fork out money replacing stuff and not helping. I'm thinking mine is the coil pack. the white plastic piece under the idi cover. Worst thing is there are no 2.4's scrapped around my area.

i've replaced plugs and boots coils and coil cover and icm....like i said off idle runs great only at idle problem occurs.
