How do you remove the power steering hoses from the rack and pinion?

We are changing the rack & pinion steering and are not able to get to the power steering hoses to remove them. Any suggestions on how to get to these hoses?

Sorry, forgot to mention this is on a 1999 Pontiac Sunfire.
