Hello all,

I have a 2002 Chevy Caviler.

Does NOT work:
- Tail running lights
- Dash board lights
- Lights to the automatic shifter

Does work:
- Brake lights
- Reverse light
- Turn signal
- Inside dome lights.

I checked the fuses and they look good. Anyone run in to these issues? I have not done any electrical mods. Everything is stock including the radio. Just had the alternator checked @ Autozone and it's OK.

Are the bulbs good? Have you tested them to see if they are grounded properly?

Bagged and Blown

Found the issue. A month ago I had the rear bumper replaced due to some dents. Apperently the shop that did the work was too lazy to put the license plate light back in it place (they didn't even secure the support clips underneath the bumper) and left striped wire which made contact and shorted out "A20 EXT LP" fuse. I missed this the first time around.


Cut off the copper and taped it up.


Replace the fuse. Lights are working!
