Loose ground somewhere..any ideas?

Hey guys and gals,
I've just finished doing an engine swap to my 2002 Sunfire, 5 Speed. I noticed, as i was taking it for a test drive last night, that as I go along, my dash lights up like a christmas tree (ABS, Engine Light, Parking Brake, Fuel light, Airbag Light, Service Engine Light, Anti Theft Light) none of which were on before the swap, and aren't on until after about 10 minutes of driving. If i turn the car off, and back on everything (except the check engine light) will go off. Whenever I hit the brakes, the bulbs for the blinkers on my dash will light up slightly, and when I flick the blinker on, the display on my deck will fade in, and out opposite of the blinker flash. To me, this sounds like a problem with a ground (or maybe more than one) somewhere. Does any one know if there is any way to pinpoint where the loose ground is, just based on the lights that are on?
Thanks for your help!

like on cheech & chong you have to go searching..lol

it could be a number of things so start diagnosing and limiting your options.

haha alright, good enough
nice analogy btw

Is there any way that it could be something major though? we didn't do anything with the wiring, and touched nothing behind the firewall..really hoping it's just a ground lol, the engine swap cost me enough

i don't think its anything major or wouldn't of put that motor in. go through and double check all grounds. and hell there might be a sensor unplugged.

Like I said in another post about grounds, check the ones right around the starter, they cause all kinds of weird stuff to happen. I had 1 flapping in the wind after my engine swap.

Turns out it was the ground from the battery to the chassis. When were taking the engine out, the bolt snapped off and apparently we missed it when we were putting everything back together. I just drilled out the old bolt, slapped a new one and put the ground on. Good as gold ever since. Only issue now is that my trunk won't pop using the button on the dash haha
