Crank Seal leak?
Saturday, June 20, 2009 10:59 AM
I recently did a HO Cam swap and LD9 head build

Replaced the entire top end gasket set

Didnt change my crank seal

Put on an Unorodox UD pulley

Now i have some oil the looks to leak on top of the Right side A-arm

Im thinking it could be the crank seal

Anyway to narrow it down for sure?

Hard to change?

Procedure?

Thanks

Hard to see where its coming from under there

I will have to further investigate

Timing seal is all brand new also

Only thing that wasnt changed was the crank seal

Not 100 percent but leak appears to be coming from 2 bolts directly behind the Crank Pulley

Could check them cause pulley was in the way and i didnt have the socket here

Will have to take another stab at it
