Quick wheel bearing question...
Thursday, July 02, 2009 11:02 PM
Recently replaced the front hub on my 00 Cav. I torqued the axle nut at 120ft-lb. Is this sufficient enough?

Thanks...Aaron

calls for 185ft-lbs, find a buddy or an 800lb gorilla.

Uhh..I'm plenty strong enough. I just didn't know what the torque rating was. I just put 3400 miles on the car in the past 2 weeks going from northern pa to southern fl and back..and the wheel bearing is fine. Should I re-torque it?
