I need to get some new parts on my 97 Cav. 2.2L. I need help with a few parts though. I have no idea where the PCV Valve is. I googled it, but nothing with pictures came up, only how to do it. I don't want to take something apart I'm not supposed to. I'm changing the spark plug wires as well, when I followed them around the engine I seen they're stuck way down in the back. Is there a certain way to get to them with taking anything off? I was thinking maybe going from under the car. If anyone can help with these two things it'd be great, hopefully a picture of the PCV Valve will be included. Thanks.
for the pcv valve, its in the valve cover on the passenger side. there's a large 12 point plastic threaded retainer nut, take that out and the pcv valve will come out too. as for the plug wires, is the car an auto or manual?
auto is probably easier to get at from under the car, with a manual you can reach behind the block, just do one at a time (take one wire off, treace it to the plug, put new wire on plug, take it back to the one post of the coil you removed it from.)
you cant do it wrong if only one plug wire is off at a time.

Ok thanks, I think I found the PCV valve thanks to you, nobody's post I read about it said anything about points on it, just it was a nut on the engine. As for the spark plug cables, it's an automatic, so I guess I'm going under the car. Just need stands from my father-in-law.
Before I forget, it looks like there's liquid of some sort (probably coolant from my hose breaking 3 weeks ago) in the holes where the spark plugs are. What's the best way to get it out before I pull the plugs. I doubt that kind of stuff is ok to be inside that part of the engine.
