Hey so here's the story old starter died I replaced the solenoid and it still would only engage intermittenly, would catch about one in three. So now I'll be putting a new one in after work tonight.
Ok questions last night when I bolted it up and got it wired properly, after changing the oil ... I started the car and now my battery light stays on I just drove it to work I got there ok but lights are dim noticibly dim. What would cause the battery light?
I took off and re attached the grounds near the starter could that cause this?
For wiring on the starter its two to the big terminal and one to the little red?
Thanks in advance its a 1997 sunfire with the 2.4
Sorry for the long post
