Ok, the meters read that my AC was overcharged at 65psi. The AC doesn't blow as cold as it used to. I was able to drain some out to the level of 45psi. The ac started blowing cold air again. A week later the AC is back to reading 65psi. Again I had it drained to 40psi. Is my AC unit going bad?

I only know of one area to check and that's where the blue cap is at. Is that what you're talking about? That's where I am reading the psi listed above. If there is another area where is it located?
Take it to a shop to get recharged properly. A/C systems are recharged by weight not pressure(ounces not psi).
