Anyone here really understand the 2002 instrument panel? I'm having a problem with one and would like to share ideas. I'm convinced it's a power up reset problem...

Instrument panel is dead. But the real problem is, it's out of sync with the engine control module. What happened is the battery ran dead because I left something on. When I charged the battery I should have disconnected it. The battery voltage coming up very slowly cared the problem.
Ran into this before. The fix is to disconnect the battery for some long period of time. Longer than two days. Then connect it up and it works again. I'm wondering if there is another way to reset it.
