Hey guys, got a trouble shooting question for ya.
2003 Sunfire, Automatic
Sometimes when I put it into reverse and/or drive, give it a little gas, the engine will sputter and almost die. It's never died, but always comes close. When it happens, my check engine light, ABS light and traction control light all come on. To fix it, I usually shut the car off, wait a few seconds and restart. Never have a problem on the restart.
I'm thinkin bad O2 sensor....bad injectors......old plugs.....one of those (hopefully not more than one), anyone have any ideas they'd like to share?

I would start by hooking up a scanner and seeing if there is a code stored. Do you have a cel while the car is running?

99K miles on it. just put new plugs in it yesterday so i haven't had a chance to rule that one out yet. still love to hear anyones ideas. i'll get it to a auto shop this weekend for a scan (i haven't bought one of my own yet).
