So i am new here and my first post is a question.
I have read about people having high idle or low idle and stalling but nothing quite like the problem i am having. For the past 2 weeks when i drive, and i get my car to about 2000-3000 it hesitates and drops about 500-1000 rpms and shoots up almost 1500 and slowly goes back to original cruising rpms. It does not hesitate when i step on the gas, and just seems to happen whenever it wants to. But only between 2-3k rpms.
So basically stumbles a bit then revs up high then returns to original rpms, and repeats. Now i know there can be many issues causing this, such as vacuum, spark, fuel. But can my situation be different from all others posted, as i have not seen or heard of this type of behaviour in the j-body?
Car is 2000 cavalier
2200 auto trans with 140 000km or 87 000miles
Thanks in advance for your help and time.
