AC on and car shuts off

i will be taking car in to mechanic monday, but just wanted to see if anyone has an idea on my problem, basically i car runs fine with AC off, and i turn it on and then it shuts off?

looks like ac compressor and fan motor need replacing.

total labor and parts $889.
