I've noticed this sitting in the corner for quite some time, what is it for? Its been sitting unplugged since I've had the car.
its the plug for the coolant level sensor in the resevoir ...matter of fact it plugs in right about 2" to the left of where its sitting the 2nd pic....im surprised your dummy light hasnt been on this whole time
Thanks for the replys...I haven't had any lights on the dash since I've had it I'll go out and look for the spot where it plugs into, thanks again for the help fellas
look in the 2nd pic directly above that brown hose clamp
it plugs in the bottem thats an easy fix

The light wont come on unless its reading low resistance ie low coolant.

According to chilton's, the light comes on when the float doesn't have enough water below it, holding it off of the reed switch, thus closing the circuit and popping on the light..... In other words, the sensor not being plugged in, isn't going to throw the light on....
