Hey my led display is so far dimmed down I can barley read it. Is there a way to turn it up or to increase the power to it?
Is this some aftermarket cluster or bulbs correct?
If no is your resistor turned to full brightness
LEDs are a solid state device, meaning on or off, it isnt like a normal bulb where you can change the amount of current going to it, to make it dim/bright

No its the stock radio. If you look at an angle you can see the led time, station excetra. But looking straight at it / it is all blacked out. resistor is that the dial for turning up the dash lights? If so yes its up all the way. The display was fine when I went the Atlanta nascar race in sept the next morning it was out / what happened? loose wire?
Our Monsoon display on our 2000 Sunfire did the same thing. Behind the display screen, there are 3 bulbs (not LEDs, they seem dimmer than LEDs). The outer two of the three on ours blew, leaving only the center one and an impossible-to-read display in the daytime. I tore apart the stereo and soldered some new LED bulbs in from Radio Shack last weekend and they still do not work, but it was those bulbs that were blown. I am just going to throw an aftermarket stereo that I have in there because the Monsoon was starting to act funny anyways (sometimes went DOWN when you turned volume knob up, same with changing stations occasionally).
So, you can either check the solders on the 3 bulbs, replace bulbs and risk killing it completely, or replace the stereo....or live with it.
