Installing a schrader valve on the 2200 fuel rail...

Dear JBody-ers,

Has anyone here installed a schrader valve on the fuel rail of a 2200? If so, where did you install it?

I want a way to easily check my fuel pressure without having to install one of my quick-connect taps. Thanks!

I was thinking along the lines of drilling and tapping the rail for an NPT fitting that has a schrader valve at one end - i just don't know if the rail is thick enough to do such a thing.

Ideally, i could remove the rail, drill a hole at the end, and TIG-weld in a steel fitting. Unfortunately, I don;t have a TIG welder :-(
