What is the best choice for a JBODY repair manual? Haynes, Chilton's, etc?
I want one for a 2000 Cavalier.
I own a set of the OEM manuals, a Haynes and several large PDF's I've sourced on-line from here and elsewhere. You can't beat the OEM for detail (and they're a large, two volume set), but they're written more from the GM technician point of view using OEM parts and references. (The OEM's show up used on eBay often.) The Haynes has a more do-it-yourself tone and is easy for home mechanics to follow, but is often sketchy on some of the details. Lastly, some of the files that others have made available are great supplements and often are specific to certain problems or components. There are links to many of them on the JBO.
Ya, I had seen some on Ebay but as I mentioned above, I dont need anything to advanced with my so called "car knowledge" . I was actually thinking Haynes as well but was just curious if there was anyone else that would recommend anything else.
heres a good one.
but its more for the body.

Yes. Get those you mention AND the GM factory manual. They each show/tell something from a different perspective and can be invaluable when used in harmony.
Gotta get just one? Get the Factory.
