My wife's 02 Cavalier will stall on any incline. Make a popping sound then stall. I was behind her to get it home and it smells really bad when it happens, I replaced the fuel filter a few months ago and not sure what to start with. I am going to get a fuel pressure guage but not sure if I should look elsewhere. Please help! She's 1 week from being due with new baby and need the car ASAP.

how much gas does she have????

Full tank I thought she ran out of gas when it first happened so I had her get it there and fill it up but it didn't take much so it is full. All wires seem to be attached securely and the plug wires and plugs are new a few months ago also.

All modern cars have a roll over switch that cuts the fuel supply in the event of a major accident or roll over of the car. I'm not sure on your year but they are often mounted under the car about 1/2 way forward. Worth checking out. Get a wiring diagram and locate it.
