SO I traded in my 01 Z24 (manuel) for an 03 ls sport ecotech (automatic) in Feb. it keeps bugging me that my mileage in the city is in like the low to mid 20's and even highway I barely make 30 MPG driving nice, I would drive my Z24 like I stole it and regardless I would get at least 27MPG. is it the fact its not a manuel tranny? or is this about par for my new LS, I am wondering if it may need a tune up? with winter on the doorstep its about time I look into this finally

What's the mileage on the 03? I have 94,000 on my 02 Ecotec and mine has dropped into the mid 20's with mixture driving. I change my fuel filter every 20,0000 and air filter pretty regularly. I'm thinking depending on your mileage we are both due for the front oxygen sensor( I've been told the rear one doesn't effect gas mileage.

02 sensor would help you out if its never been changed.
