anyone got an idea of how long a life the serpintine/drive belts is expected to last have im up over 100K and unsure and would like to save the chance of looking like a broken down assclown for the curent one breaking
I would recommend changing it ASAP if u got a 100k on it. Just safety insurance, I had a serpintine belt last me 40k even that it was still in good shape. I changed it for peace of mind.

Yeah i agree with you on that one rich, take care of it now or walk home later wondering why you never did anything about it while you still had the chance.
Mine started to crack at about 65k, it is only $18 for an AC Delco belt at the GM dealer
