I was driving today and my radio started to turn off and on then the brake light came on, followed by the air bag light then the car died. I assumed it was the alternator but i took it to get tested and they said it is fine. So my question is does anyone have any idea what could be causing the battery not to charge?
I put a good battery out of a different car in it to drive it home it started right up but it died about half way there. so i had to get a jump to charge it back up to make it to the house. I'm going to hook the alternator back up tomorrow and see if maybe the wire to the battery isn't making a good connection somewhere but if that is good I am out of ideas what could be wrong with it.
Could be the voltage regulator.

Check the pos. wire to the alternator . the wire runs from the starter to the alternator, I had mine go bad.
