Low idle, sputtering, bucking

When I start my car when its cold, everything runs right. Then when the engine gets about 90 degrees everything does'nt work right, it idles around 600 rpms, sputters when i try to move it and bucking when im moving slow in second gear. The coils are fine i just changed them. What sensors would have anything to do with this? Would a bad altanator have anything to do with it? AND THE COOLENT FAN DON'T WORK WHEN ITS HOT, i got a new ECT sensor ( did not change it at all ). Help me please, Im going out of my mind. Im tired of buying parts that don't change things. I want to get it ready to drive for next month, its off the road so i can't take it to the shop and get it scanned. So im @!#$ out of luck

First all what kind of car and the year and the engine?Lets do some trouble shooting to narrow the problem are u getting spark & fuel from the pump?. How old is youre fuel filter?. How long has it been since you had a tune up?. Are you getting a proper volts on youre battery reading 12.5 volts, with the car idling 13.5-14 volts charging?. Also do u have an check engine light on?. If so get the codes scanned to find the issue.

good Luck.

no offense, but i deal with people in your position all the time at work, and in every situation these people would benefit from dropping their car off at a shop and letting them fix the problem. if you don't even know where to begin with this problem, you have no business trying to solve it. fixing cars is more in depth than just switching a sensor and watching the problem go away.

really? it is? what if the sensor WAS bad and causing the problem? lol.. then thats exactly what happens.. now being able to narrow it down to the sensor, on the other hand, is a completely different story..
Im just messin around because of my own thread but thats just how it is nowadays... Everyone thinks its just a matter of scanning the codes, replacing anything it says and voila!
or just try replacing this, that might help.. lol

but they quickly learn thats a very expensive and usually inefficient way of doing things.. DTC's simply point you in the direction of the problem, if your lucky..

I mean sure... many things can (and should) be done yourself... for the price of one dealer diagnostic, you can buy your own scanner and do it yourself forever! for example..
But unless your pretty confident with your abilities, fixing your car should be left to a professional... unless you enjoy spending money replacing unbroken parts..

Now that i replaced the ect sensor, noting changed but the fan runs when its cold and while its hot it shutso off. But when i unpluge the ect sensor the idle sits at 900 rpm where its supose to be, and the fan turns on. What could cause this symptom?
