ABS/Service Light

So after yanking my trans I now have the ABS light on and service light. I'm thinking I hit a wheel speed sensor, as the wires seem intact. ABS is off right now, is the service light most likely related to that problem? With exception of the ABS, the car drives better and makes less noise (i had a few broken mounts/loose nuts and bolts) than it did before the tranny pull to do the clutch. I used a basic scan tool and didn't get any error codes, do you need a special tool to read ABS?

you need a special tool to read those codes, but it's most likely wss related. it's probably hard to diagnose which on is bad without that scanner or an oscilloscope.

That is cool, spend 30-50 to find out which $45 part to replace. May just let it be for a little while, still need tires alignment, tierod ends and ball joints.

This car cost me almost nothing in repair/maint for 3 years. I guess it is catching up with me, after all i do have 120k on the clock now.
