Just this morning i was driving to school and noticed that my gas pedal kind of sticks. It doesnt stick down, but up.
Very hard to explain. It has a larger than normal amount of resistance at rest (with no acceleration). Then, once i apply some more than normal pressure, the pedal kind of jumps, and then is smooth. With a 5 speed, im accidentally giving it more gas than im used to because of the skipping.
Please tell me someone understands what im trying to explain..
-_-
Could a kink form so quickly? Between the time i shut the car off and started it the next morning? Also, i forgot to add that this is only when the car is started and running. While off, the accelerator is fine.
O_o
It sounds like the throttle plate is hitting the throttle body . If this the case then you have to ajust the throttle stop a little more open to stop the throttle plate from hitting the throttle body .
You could have carbon buildup in the throttle body. check where the throttle plate is. if so, clean it out with some spray air intake cleaner.
