For some reason i have been blowing the hazard light fuse nocking out my turn signals. Any known issues that may cause this? I bumped it up to a 25 and it lasted a while now when ever i put in a 20 it pops within seconds.

Update The fuse is blowing when you use the brakes so i have no brake lights. Any thoughts where a break would more likley. 2002 sedan.

Well number one dont put in a higher rated fise than you should, the circuit is not intended for 25amp, if the fuse should be at 15amp.

Secondly you will need a wiring diagram, something is shorting out, could be wires in the steering column, have you had any work done under the dash, do you have an aftermarket alarm or remote start

NO aftermarket stuff under their it is the brakes blowing the fuse so their is a break somwhere in the wires that go to the rear brake lights.

There you go... You will just have to keep tracing the wires from the brake lights to the fuse. I had the same problem with my front turn signal. Here's a hint for you, replace your fuse, turn on your right blinker and see if it pops, if so than the problem is likely on the right side, if not turn on the left one and see if the problem stems from one side or the other. It makes it a lot quicker to trace if you have a little bit of an idea which side its on. otherwise, there may be a pinched wire near the trunk hinges. I haven't looked around at the wiring back there so I don't know exactly where what wire runs.

Nope it's the 3rd brake light thats causing the issue. started unpluging bulbs until the fuse stoped blowing.
