Ok i just did a head job on a 94 cavalier 2.2l and the fuel lines are leaking going to the rail. I need to know do the orings go before the lip or after the lip on the lines? because i tried it after the lip and it leaks i tried it before the lip and i cant even get the lines to go in to the fuel rail need some help please.
Im not sure, you should have looked when ya took it apart LOL. I would think that the ring would go on the outlet site of the lip but I dont remember for sure.
Go buy some thread tape and try it again. it works wonders.
you can get some fuel grade o ring lube to help slip new o rings into fittings. Dont use WD-40 or vaseline. Those products can do more harm than good in your fuel system.
