Okay so the cavy im getting is nice all around except the turn signal switch seems busted, turn signals work, but the switch is really loose and feels like if i were to push it hard it will snap. what kind of work is involved to fix this? simple swap? or like remove steering column kind of thing?

I changed my headlight swith two months ago and realized how easy it was. The only biatch issue is with the lower plastic cover under the steering wheel that you need to giggle a lot to get out of the steering column without the envy to break everything lol. You don't even need to remove the steering wheel. There's a thread in here somewhere who helped me a lot. SearchButton is your friend!

Most turn signal switches are located under the steering wheel IN the column. Usually requires pulling the steering wheel off, and replacing the plastic part that is the switch. Be extra careful if you have an airbag.
