Check engine light

I just got the pacesetter headers installed and my check engine light never came on until after i installed them, could that be the reason and is it possible they took off my 02 sensor cause of my headers?

you paid to have a header installed, and you didnt watch? in any event, it's not hard to check. if you see a oxygen sensor in your header, no, they didnt "take it off". however, i've heard of people having issues that were only resolved with installing a heated o2 sensor after swapping to a header.

Other posts in here have said they had to put a fitting in first and then the O2 sensor due to the fact that its either closer or farther away and the pcm sees the difference between the two O2 sensors as a fault.
