Is the bleeder valve not on the water outlet adapter on the driver's side of the engine?
From what I can see, it's not on an actual pipe.

I have no idea if these part #'s will be good for you, as I work for a Canadian GM dealership.

This is what it looks like.
The pipe goes behind the oil filler and the bleeder screw is broken off. It looks like the bleeder valve is part of the pipe. I believe on the 97 we have only one valve the one on the water outlet they took that off.

try calling the dealer get the number then there is a website called vintage parts I think? Anyway the right website has no pictures just a spot to enter the mfg p/n. I ordered a new intake hose for my 94 sunbird it came and was 100% oem.
I think I found it. Part # 22646763 . Gmpartsdirect has it listed for $66.80
