ok so i read through the whole list of things that the cel could mean, and i ruled out all the things i could do in the parking lot at work on my break, but what i'm wondering is what are the most common CEL issues with an 00-02 2200 powered cavy if the gen and engine make any difference to that.. i'm not sure anywhere with a code reader will be open by the time i get off work so i'm just looking for some other things i can tinker with in the driveway after work? any ideas?

There are maaaany things it could be. One thing you can try is making sure your gas cap is all the way tight. Mine did that once.. otherwise, you really need to get the code read.
