my headlights work sometimes and sometimes dont there all at random and when they dont work when i turn the switch to turn the headlight on it unlocks my doors.............. and when they do work it will not unlock my doors any ideals what this is? ive looked for a short cant find it anywhere and also is there a headlight relay on a 2002 z24? b/c i cannot find it anywhere at all i was told it may be a BCM or a switch what do you guys think?
Sounds like a short or maybe a BCM issue?? The headlights flash when u hit the lock/unlock on the keyfob, as a curtsey thing.. im assuming thats why the signals are getting crossed and the doors are unlock/lock when you hit the switch to turn the headlgihts on. Do your DRLs work like normal? Or are they tempermental as well?

A dont believe a short would cause this unless the corresponding wires themselves were crossed. I blame BCM, but electrical problems can be complicated.
