NEED HELP ASAP ON CKP SENSOR

So i have the oil pan off and the old sensor off and now im stuck trying to get the new sensor in. i really need help cause its stuck halfway in and will not go any farther in or out. please help asap. i only have limited time to work on it so i have to get it done in the next couple hours

dont know about a ckp sensor, but I couldnt get my 02 sensor out, I stripped it out and what I did was take a smaller wrench, beat it on there and tunred it out. Was pretty darn hard. Wish I could be of more help, but I am in the same crunch as you right now, gotta get the car fixed b4 the storm hits again.


98z24, lowered 2", aem intake, cat-back striaght pipes!, cop ligths in the front and rear, 18" liquid metal's, primer black, tint, full audio and video.

not really the same but i guess if you want to say that u can. my sensor is located on the back of the motor and with the automatic transmission there is barely any room. that and i cant turn it because the magnetic part just stays stationary and i cant risk breaking the plastic and have to go and get another new sensor.
i dont know how u could be having that many problems with the o2 sensor, is it the front one or the back one

It was changed bout a month ago and it was the rear one, I have to changed the gaskets on my water pump today, I just ahve to wait for the engine to cool down, I burnt myself pretty darn good... Haha!

yea burns arent fun. i burnt myself once when i was putting a megan racing turbo manifold on a evo once

how do u get to the ckp sensor?
